Master international photographers and young artists will be invited to produce new views and new visions for the Gardens, allowing a work capable of remaining “timeless” and “outside time” to emerge.
Together with Assicurazioni Generali, a project has been conceived for the Piazza San Marco area that involves both the Royal Gardens and the Procuratie Vecchie, a work that will document the evolution of these places. The project is based on three interconnected activities: photographing vestiges of the past to preserve their memory for the future; documenting the process of transformation the site undergoes as it is restored; narrating the past and conveying it into the present and the future.
Venice Gardens Foundation has invited Guido Guidi and Francesco Neri to participate in the project.
